Can Speech Pathology support my child?
Speech Pathology can support children at any stage of development if they are experiencing difficulty communicating within their daily life.Speech Pathology can support children with a range of diagnosed conditions including, but not limited to, Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Global Development Delay, and Intellectual Disability. Children who are early in their diagnostic journey, or who are simply finding some tasks challenging can also benefit from Speech Pathology.

Speech Pathology Assessments
Speech Pathology assessments provide an assessment of a child's performance across the skill areas that they use in their daily life. Speech Pathology assessments support families, teachers and health professionals to understand how a child may benefit from Speech Pathology supports.

Ongoing Speech Pathology
Following an Occupational Therapy Assessment, a family may decide that ongoing therapy will benefit their child. Therapy can be provided to target whichever skill area a child and their family feel will be most beneficial.

Parent and school coaching
Supporting children to build their communication skills is a team effort. Your Occupational Therapist will work alongside your family and your child's educators, to ensure they have a comprehensive understanding of your child, and so that strategies can be implemented in all environments.
